It was a tricky year for Refining NZ to navigate, due largely to a third party rupturing its pipeline to Auckland. The annual report’s design strategy was to put Refining NZ on the front foot and give its stakeholders confidence by telling the human story about the incident. Giving life to the effort, precision and world-leading emergency management responses and procedures that saved a potential environmental and economic tragedy.
